He sits with me
on my rollercoaster
He reminds me
I have nothing to fear
He sits with me
I hold his hand
and see the wounds
which took my shame
and healed me
He sits with me
He walked in my shoes
He felt my pain
He felt my loneliness
and shame
He sits with me
A covering, a cloth
as white as clean wool
He covers my fears
and confusion
He sits with me
He hears me
He sees me
He knows my heart
He never leaves
He sits with me
Hebrews 4:15-16
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
